5 things you can do for inspiration
Dear upcoming students,
One thing that i didn’t like in this class was the writing assignments or the ones where we had to go outside because those pictures never came out right for me, but that doesn’t mean i hated the other assignments. I liked this class because I was able to express my creativity through my art and work with my friends. I would say this class was fairly easy, but I did struggle with memorizing things like putting the right settings for my camera. The work can be stressful at times, but as long as you ask for help and take your time then you should be good. Don’t stress yourself out too much if you don’t think your assignment is perfect enough because that can make you mess up more.
Don’t be afraid to fail, you’re new so don’t expect yourself to be perfect at something. Not everyone started out being good so make sure to take your time. This class is really useful when it comes to finding yourself and figuring out what you like in art so take advantage of that as much as you can.

The inspo for my collage was space, time, and dreams. When you dream you tend to warp reality in your mind so everything you see isn’t always rule. I tried to add a lot of color to put everything together I wanted to put this into an image because I wanted to show how no matter what you’re always surrounded by space and time and how time goes by fast which is why I added a clock outside a door because the next hour is always at your doorstep. I wanted to put that into an image that would catch people’s attention. I wanted to make it look like time was taking over the girl in my art because of the way time can consume you in real life through anxiety and stress from worrying about not having enough time to do what you need to do.
expressionless, dramatic, serious, pretty, sad looking eyes
5 tips for drawing on portraits:
To get this image I first put my camera on a tripod as to keep it still to not mess up the image then I put the shutter speed to 30 seconds at F 11 and put 200 ISO. I also had an external handheld flash that I had someone else hold so that they could press the button for it to go off while I waited for the camera to go off. While the flashes went off at different times, I had my subject move her head in different positions to be able to achieve the multiple images of her.
